Deauville and Trouville are beautiful cities that offers shopping and long beach walks. Known as “the Parisian Riviera” as this was the go-to holiday destination for many Parisians in the early 1900s.
Route de Cidre is an opportunity to see the gorgeous Normandy scenery and discover local producers of cider, pommeau, calvados, cheese and much more. Make sure you don’t miss out on the adorable village Beuvron-en-Auge – it’s a gem along the Route de Cidre.
Bayeux is known for its fantastic cathedral and for the Bayeux Tapestry which both date back to the 11th century. Bayeux is overall a charming, picturesque village.
Close to the D-day landing beaches.
Port-en-Bessin-Huppain, one of the largest fishing villages and the main place for scallops in France.
Our all-time favourite visit is to the Mont St Michel. It’s a village with a gorgeous monastery built on a tiny island by the Normandy shore where the difference between ebb and flow is the biggest in the world.
